The Protest Beard

There comes a time in every man's life when he must decide who he is and what he stands for. Almost as importantly, he must decide that which he stands against. There are many things to stand against and many ways to protest your opposition. But history has shown one method to be popular, unfailingly attractive, and very powerful - the growing of a protest beard.

A beard shows the world that your refuse to conform to anyone's arbitrary styles and rules. You are a slave to no one. It is your face and you will do with it what you please. When you grow a beard, you set yourself apart from the crowd and pronounce your individuality. And you join the ranks of many great men.

He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man. (from William Shakespeare)

It takes a certain kind of man to grow a beard. It is not something that is done on a whim. It takes dedication and fortitude. G. K. Chesterton accurately noted, "You cannot grow a beard in a moment of passion."

I invite you to take a stand with the great men of history and grow out your beard! Get your friends to join in with you. Pass this idea along to all of the freedom-loving individuals you know. Your small act of defiance will have consequences that ripple throughout the world as more join you. You will quite literally change the face of the world.

Thank you very much for your support of Protest Beard!

Let Us Hear Your Protest!

I am a president of a large engineering firm and have decided today to grow my beard.  Society hates beards because it is masculine.  Society today in America has been feminized and men are made to feel unacceptable in business and in their personal lives with their women if they have a beard, for the most part.  Some women do like beards, and find them sexy.  Those women are probably the most passionate also.
Anyway, regarding business with a beard in America, I am declaring that THE FEAR OF MAN IS A SNARE.  God put hair on man's face for a reason He thought as a good idea.  Who are we to argue with a perfect creator?

A beard is a sign of maturity in man. It is an acceptance of the natural image God made a man to have. It signals a lack of vanity. It seems that a man who spends a lot of time in front of the mirror is vain, and woman like. The Bible forbids shaving and rounding the beard, as did the apostles who were all obedient to the law. Image is important, should not Christians be obedient as was Jesus and all the later followers of Christ  till very late in history? A beard is a glory to man, it is as the mane of the lion. Can we concieve of an african lion with it's mane shaved off? How much the creature would be less without it! I do not see a beard as a "protest beard", rather simply what is natural in a man. The absence of one is what is unnatural.

I am 21 years old. I have had a beard of sorts since I was 16 years old. Every year since then, in the dead of winter, I would shave my beard completely off. I never understood why. I suppose it was just so I wouldn't forget what I looked like or who I was, and to experience the cold again. To witness its ferocity. But this year, and from now on, I will never shave my beard. I will never trim my beard. I am growing this beard to protest ignorance. Things need to change, and people need to grow. I hope that as my beard grows so will their knowledge, tolerance, and their souls. Go with God, be him above you looking down, or in you looking out, be him in the earth or in the sea, be him everywhere or nowhere. Whatever you believe in, stay true to it, and set an example for others to follow in peace. The beard is strong. The beard is good. The beard is me. The beard is you.

I am 28 years old - I am protesting a couple of things. One womens heart crushing skills and 2 (most importantly) The fact that people do not fully comprehend the true nature of Liberty.. That is inherent in the nature of mankind itself. For when one comes to understand what Liberty truly is, they would not be able to rally around others to rule over their lives and well being. Liberty is incompatible with Government. Now this does not mean to say that there should be no Law, but it means to say the law to be followed is the Laws of Nature. That has a foundation of which no man, woman of any color race, religion, creed does not have any authority to impose their will over another. With this simple foundational law, it resolves all issues among mankind.. We are free and free we are! freeworld! - Come leave the Kingdom and join us in Freedom. -A place where we are all equal and respected. We are Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. - It's the freedom message that brings us together, is doesnt divide us. Peace peace

The dollar is our Constitutional guarantee of the value of our money and wealth! Fern’s have failed, the FED has failed, but the dollar….NEVER!
